Local and National Lobbying Efforts

Members of Neltner Billing and Consulting's staff are engaged on an regular basis in health care reform lobbying. Our efforts encompass activities on both a national level and in various grass roots programs across the country.

Some of our activities include working with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) representatives and corresponding with key health care reform committee members relative to health care policy issues. We meet regularly with congressional representatives both locally and nationally in order to further educate them about the everyday issues facing physicians and patients.

Our applications to the American Medical Association have resulted in successful coding initiatives for physicians. We also author positioning papers on various health care issues - several of which have been published in peer-reviewed publications. Our founder, Martin Neltner, publishes a health care advocacy blog and participates regularly on other related blogs.

Neltner has also participated in local town hall meetings to advocate on behalf of patients and physicians.
